Our fully qualified team of experienced instructors can offer a range of courses to suit the complete beginner to the experienced diver who wishes to progress and master the skills required for technical diving. Our courses can be made as flexible as you want them so the theory lessons and practical skills required can be arranged to fit in to your individual timetable.

Snorkelling Courses

Snorkelling is great fun, easy to learn and an ideal way to build up confidence in the water. It is accessible to anyone - young or old - and is an enjoyable way to get the whole family involved.

For younger members of the family, snorkelling is also a great introduction to underwater sports and can be their first step towards learning to dive.

You can complete a basic snorkelling course before you go on holiday which teaches you all the basic requirements of snorkelling safely with the confidence to enjoy and discover what the amazing underwater world has to offer.

Basic Snorkelling Courses are open to children from the age of six – with BSAC's Snorkel courses starting with our Basic Snorkel Diver and progressing to Snorkel Dive Manager or Snorkel Instructor that will allow you to discover the amazing underwater sights that our very own coastline has to offer.

Morecambe Area Divers are now pleased to announce that we can now organise a range of Boat Handling, Chartwork & Navigation & VHF Radio courses in conjuction with experienced RYA Instructor John Parlane and his team at Morecambe & Heysham Yacht Club

 RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship on-line course (£125)

Courses available include Boat handling (Powerboat Level 2) & Chartwork & Navigation courses (RYA Basic Navigation & Safety to Yachtmaster Theory). Try Dive Only £10 (1/2 hour session)

Discover Scuba Course Only £30     (1 hour 40 minute session)

If you subsequently decide to train for an Internationally recognised qualification your £10 for try dives or £30 for Discover Scuba will be credited towards that course.

 Discover Scuba in the safety of a swimming pool. Its an ideal opportunity to try the equipment, meet the Instructors and see just how Fun, Safe and easy Scuba diving really is. If you then decide that Scuba Diving is a sport for you and after completing one of our Internationally Recognised Training Courses you could be discovering the underwater world both at home and abroad

Certification Training Courses can be tailored to suit individuals or family groups by appointment. (Minimum Training age applies)
